Welcome to Pack 4!
If you are considering joining Cub Scouts, congratulations! You've made a smart move for your child. We are looking for boys and girls to join our pack for fun and excitement. Scouting builds character and instills honesty, loyalty and good citizenship. Pack 4 takes these concepts an envelops them into our programs. We at Pack 4 fully enjoy ourselves and are proud to provide a quality, active and family fun program.
Pack 4 is a very organized and a well-run Pack that fully enjoys having fun. With several Scouts involved in our Pack, we are able to offer numerous events to give our Scouting families every opportunity to balance participation in Scouts with other activities that lead to busy schedules. There are always a good number of scouts that attend these events so that everyone can enjoy the activities we provide. All our functions are designed to be family focused and inclusive--siblings are welcome to join the Scouts at our events and have fun! We have many volunteer adult Leaders in our Pack engaged to deliver these programs, and trained on how best to do so.

Scouting For Boys & Girls and Their Parents
We are pleased that you are considering joining our Cub Scout Pack. It is the mission of Cub Scouts to help boys and girls from Kindergarten to 5th Grade grow into healthy, responsible citizens of our community, and to prepare them to become the leaders of tomorrow.
Pack 4 has an active Cub Scout program. Scouts will meet with their individual Dens 2-3 times per month. All the Dens meet together once a month at our Pack meetings. During these meetings, the Scouts will participate in activities that will help the scout advance through the Cub Scout ranks or earn other types of rewards such as belt loops, pins, and patches. There will be additional recreational activities planned as well, giving the Scouts time to spend with friends and family. We encourage attendance at as many activities as possible.
We encourage parents to be active in the Pack. Our Pack Committee is made up of leaders, parents and other adults that meet once a month to discuss and plan events, outings, fundraising, and to support the plans made by Den leaders. All parents are welcome to attend and contribute to these meetings. For those parents wishing to take on a leadership role within the Pack, we would be happy to have your help. We have numerous positions available, ranging from a once-a-year commitment, to Den Leader, to Pack administration. We encourage parents to consider a role in which they can best use their talents and skills, and training for each position is available. And parents -- don't tell the scouts, but sometimes we have as much fun as they do!
